Why capture some missed calls, when you can get them all?
Septier Who-Called is a call completion enhancement solution that immediately boosts revenues - whether you have an existing solution or not. Septier Who-Called monitors your signaling network, finds out when a call is missed, and sends an SMS to let the subscriber know who called them and when. The subscriber can then dial back - converting a potentially-missed call into revenue. Capturing what traditional solutions missTraditional solutions, such as those based on voicemail, work by capturing calls rerouted by the MSC. But the switch often does not recognize missed calls and cannot route them properly. Septier Who-Called circumvents the MSC, so it can capture more calls.
How does Septier Who-Called compare with voicemail-based and other solutions?Septier Who-Called is completely non-intrusive and does not overload the network. Unlike other solutions, it only notifies subscribers when they really missed the call, and provides detailed statistics on calls completed.

Network load | Completely passive: does not access network elements and does not use SMS type 0. | Loads the network and its elements by sending SMS type 0 for all subscribers who have missed call events. | User experience | Does not notify subscribers when they already know about the call, or when the caller eventually gets through. Sends unified messages. | Annoys users by sending redundant notifications ("But I just spoke to him!"), and by sending a separate message for each call. | Roaming support | Full roaming support*: notifies roamers of missed calls regardless of their location or the network conditions. | Cannot always support subscribers when they are roaming. | Reporting | Provides real-time data on actual calls returned as a result of the service. | No way to gauge effectiveness or analyze subscriber behavior. | Granularity | Distinguishes between missed-call events and can be configured to respond differently to each one. | Lumps all missed-call events together, resulting in redundant notifications and network load. | Completeness | Captures all missed calls, even if the caller did not reach voicemail, or if the subscriber does not have voicemail. | Can only notify subscribers when callers reach the voicemail and do not leave a message. |

Capturing calls at the sourceSeptier Who-Called is based on the Septier Location Registry (SLR) platform. The SLR provides accurate user status information to the Septier Who-Called application, allowing it to pick up calls as soon as they are dialed. The application checks if the caller leaves a message or tries again, and if not, sends a unified notification SMS to the subscriber when he or she becomes available.
